Gareth Laycock

Managing Director

Gareth is Director for D&AGF Ltd. A Goldman Sachs graduate, he drives the business through constantly engaging with innovation and new processes to continually improve D&AGF’s offer to its business partners. An expert in warehouse management and operation and process planning, Gareth has an eye for detail, and sets high standards for the company.

Diane Gordon-Freeman

Director

Following a successful 19-year career in NHS senior management roles, Diane’s successes include the implementation of ISO 9000 accredited Quality Management and the implementation of National modernisation initiatives.

Diane achieved a BTEC National in Business and Finance, became an ISO 9000 Assessor/Lead assessor, a Diploma in Managing Health & Social Care, a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Management, an MSc in Quality Management and became a PRINCE2 Practitioner. In 2007, Diane continued to use these experiences, to create D&AGF Ltd which has continued to gather both local and National awards for quality and service. Diane achieved the title of Hull & East Yorkshire Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

Alan Gordon-Freeman

Non-Executive Director

Alan is a confident, self-motivated professional, with extensive Board-level and executive experience in strategic planning, policy direction and corporate governance. He has considerable experience as a highly qualified Business Advisor and is a competent leader with a proven track record of advising, motivating, and developing both operational teams and projects. His broad-based commercial experience includes managing across all sectors.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber-attacks. Cyber-attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Our advice is designed to prevent these attacks.

SME Climate Hub

The SME Climate Hub is a non-profit global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build resilient businesses for the future. The Hub is an initiative of the We Mean Business Coalition, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign in collaboration with Normative and the Net Zero team at Oxford University.

HMRC Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme

The HMRC Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme (FHDDS) is a regulatory framework introduced by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in the United Kingdom. The scheme is designed to tackle Value Added Tax (VAT) fraud and non-compliance in the e-commerce sector, particularly involving goods imported from outside the European Union (EU) and sold to UK consumers via online marketplaces.

Oh Yes! Net Zero is a unique opportunity for everyone in the Hull city region to come together once more and make a positive impact on the world around us. This time, we will do it by working together to drive down our carbon footprint and make sure we lead the way in the UK’s fight against the effects of climate change on our city and our region. We want to do it our way and lead the way in becoming net zero for the UK. There aren’t many cities that could do this, but we really can.
